While she's a highly qualified and experienced organisational psychologist, Heidi thinks of herself as an adviser on people and is passionate about the power of Kaya's positive psychology methodology to change lives, as well as organisations, for the better.
Heidi draws on her broad expertise encompassing psychometrics, emotional intelligence, energy management, coaching, and leadership and talent development to unlock the potential inside all individuals at all levels, from graduates to CEOs.
What's more, she has done this across a diverse range of industries, most recently within the mining and retail sectors where her considerable skills and insights have been applied primarily to high-performance team development, leadership development and agile change management.
In addition to an MA in Industrial Psychology from the University of the North West, Heidi is an accredited user of a wide range of assessment and reporting products. She is also a registered organisational psychologist with the HPCSA and a member of SIOPSA (Society of Industrial and Organisational Psychology in South Africa).
Prior to her career at Kaya, Heidi worked in various NPO's in rural communities, as counsellor and facilitating skills development. She started as an intern at Kaya in 2005 and has been working in consulting for the past 18 years.
