Problem


Challenging their own thinking and comfort, a large government department in Western Australia approached Kaya to support the strategic review of their leadership framework. The department wanted to adopt an innovative leadership stance to ensure they were prepared for the next generation of work.

Our solution


Working closely with key strategic roles, Kaya integrated key leadership theories, frameworks and empirical research with the agencies vision for leadership across all levels within the agency. In addition to co-designing a comprehensive strategic framework and behavioural competencies for leaders across all levels of the agency, Kaya integrated the guiding values and mindsets that would support leaders to achieve the vision of the agency. The solution displayed a clear commitment to development and clearly outlined the expectations for leaders across all levels within the agency.

The result


Our holistic approach to the project produced an innovative and evidence-based framework that will support the agency in their strategic direction in their complex evolving environment. To further support the leaders of today and tomorrow within the agency, a white-paper was developed outlining the evidence that underpins the framework and the connection between mindset, behaviours and results.
